McCain Did Not Respect Martin Luther King

John McCain voted against a day honoring Martin Luther King.

The fact that John McCain voted against honoring a day after the great civil rights leader, Martin Luther King, shows exactly what he’s about.  McCain voted against MLK day!  Look it up for yourself.

McCain said he later regretted that decision, especially when it threatened his re-election.  At that point all politicians regret whatever they need to regret in order to get re-elected.  The fact is that his gut instinct was to not honor MLK.

It’s a sad point in America when a possible president would fail to acknowledge someone who made so many contributions to this country.  And if McCain fails to give credit to Martin Luther King, then don’t expect for Caesar Chavez to be honored, either.

The best thing we can all do is make sure we stop this less than tolerant mentality from reaching the White House.

If that doesn’t convince you, then take a look at McCain’s running mate, Sarah Palin.  The first black person she has ever seen is Barack Obama.  No wonder she’s scared.  She’s realizing that there are more people that look like Obama in America.  Sarah Palin can’t understand why is this “Obama epidemic” so out of control in this country.  She’s going to Washington to clean it up!

Hopefully people will wake up and see the reality of things.  If you want to end the war, vote for Obama.  If you want to get this economy straighten out, vote for Obama.  If you want America to be seen as a great country in the world once again, then vote for Obama.

I would love to dissect the brains of the people that still support McCain to this day.  Those people that do, are very dangerous.  They are those same people that voted for our current president.

Here’s an interesting article about McCain’s newfound regrets about refusing to honor MLK.
